Arnold To Move Marengo Operations to Woodstock, Illinois

Arnold to Start Exciting New Chapter in its History on the Brink of its 130th Anniversary

Rochester, NY: Arnold Magnetic Technologies Corporation ("Arnold"), a subsidiary of Compass Diversified (NYSE: CODI) and leading global manufacturer of high-performance motors, magnets, & thin metals recently acquired a state-of-the-art 130,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Woodstock, Illinois for their Precision Thin Metals and Alnico divisions.


Arnold will move its operations 14 miles from Marengo, Illinois to the new facility in Woodstock, which is also in McHenry County. The new location was carefully selected to be convenient for the existing workforce to easily make the transition. The relocation will occur during the 4th quarter of 2024 and will follow a structured, phased approach designed to minimize disruption to Arnold's customers. This transition comes on the brink of Arnold's 130th anniversary in 2025, opening an exciting new chapter in the history of the company.

Arnold's CEO, Dan Miller, commented, "The Marengo facility has been with Arnold since 1930, and it has allowed us to serve countless customers, having a permanent place in the history of this company. At the same time, our new facility marks an exciting step forward for our company. It will only expand and strengthen our capacity to continue providing quality products and services to our Precision Thin Metals and Alnico customers across the board."
