• Muratec's Double Reach Shuttle ASRS: Making its North American debut, this high-density automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) is designed for maximum efficiency in small-product handling. The Double Reach shuttle is an ASRS built to maximize space without giving up any storage capacity. By combining a narrow shuttle vehicle with a double-reach transfer mechanism, it optimizes storage capacity while minimizing aisle width, retrieving loads from greater depths within a compact footprint. This system enables efficient goods-to-person picking (GTP), reduces manual retrieval time, and eliminates the need for external sorting with its integrated sorting function. It facilitates receiving, tracking, replenishment, picking, and packing in one compact solution.
